Aermeccanica, a leading company in aviation maintenance, launches a new educational initiative: “Talenti in Hangar.” The program is driven by Gianluca Pinza, the company’s sole director, with the goal of bringing young people closer to the world of aviation through hands-on technical learning experiences.
The project targets recent graduates from technical and vocational schools, offering them the opportunity to work alongside experienced technicians in the company’s key departments: wheels, brakes, batteries, and non-destructive testing (NDT). “We believe in young people and in the transfer of practical knowledge. Training is our most strategic investment,” says Gianluca Pinza.
The initiative includes both theoretical and practical modules, focusing on safety, MRO procedures, and new technologies, to ensure a qualified generational shift and continuity of skills. In addition to direct experience in the workshop, participants will have access to themed workshops, educational visits, and opportunities for discussion with the company’s leadership. Through this approach, Aermeccanica aims to create a real bridge between school and work, training not only skilled technicians but also future professionals who are aware of the industrial context in which they operate.
According to Gianluca Pinza, the program also represents a tangible contribution to the local community: “Our headquarters are in the heart of the Malpensa aviation hub. Supporting young people from the area means investing in resources that already understand the value of our industry.” Therefore, “Talenti in Hangar” is a long-term project aimed at generating value for both the participants and the company itself.
It is also another sign of Aermeccanica’s commitment to the future of the Italian aerospace sector.
